What Counts as Urgent Care?
If you’re unsure whether your pet needs an urgent visit, call us. We’ll help you decide the best next step. Common urgent concerns include:
- Vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or lethargy
- Difficulty breathing, persistent coughing, or collapse
- Straining to urinate or defecate, blood in urine or stool
- Eye redness, squinting, or sudden vision changes
- Limping, lacerations, bite wounds, or suspected fractures
- Allergic reactions (facial swelling, hives) or insect/snake bites
- Ingestion of toxins, foreign objects, or medications
- Heat stress, fever, or pain

- Diagnostics On-Site: In-house lab testing, digital X-rays, and other diagnostics and treatments help us reach answers quickly.
- Treatment Plan: We review our findings with you, discuss options and costs, and begin appropriate care—whether outpatient treatment, monitoring, or hospital admission.
- Follow-Up: You’ll receive clear home-care instructions and timely recheck recommendations to support a smooth recovery.
